Dear Parents/Carers,
We are pleased to inform you that our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils will be visiting The Hive Woodland and Buzzing Habitats in Epping Forest on Monday 9th March 2026.
This trip links directly to our Science learning on classifying and identifying living creatures and will provide a valuable hands-on experience to develop the children’s working scientifically skills.
Timetable

Depart: 9:15am from Saffron Green Primary School

Arrive at venue: 10:15am

Depart venue: around 2:30pm

Return to school: Approximately 3:15pm
Consent and Payment
A contribution of £30.00 per child is required to cover transport, entry and workshop costs.

As this visit takes place in woodland, there is a risk of ticks. Please read the attached information carefully. It is very important that procedures are followed, including:
