FAO: KS2 Parents - Exciting News - Free After school clubs for KS2

23 February 2026 (by Holly Evans (admin))

    Dear Parents and Carers,

As we shared recently on our newsletter, our school have been working hard behind the scenes to build strong partnerships with new providers so that we can widen and enrich our after-school offer. Our goal is to introduce even more clubs after the February half-term — with a real focus on keeping opportunities low-cost or, where possible, completely free for our families.

With that in mind, we are absolutely delighted to share some exciting news!

We are incredibly fortunate to be working in partnership with Haberdashers School, who have very kindly offered three free after-school clubs for KS2 exclusively for Saffron Green pupils. These clubs will run on Fridays from 3:15–3:45pm and will take place here at school.

    The clubs on offer are:

    • Art and Craft Club - All KS2
    • Stay and Play (a fun, sport and activity-based club) - All KS2
    • Year 6 Homework Club - Only year 6

Each club has 15 spaces available, so we expect places to fill quickly!

The first session will take place on Friday 13th March.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, with booking available via Arbor from today , Monday 23/02/2026 after 4pm. Once spaces are filled, additional places will not be available, so we encourage families to sign up promptly to avoid disappointment.

    How to Register via Arbor:

Go to Parents Portal > Dashboard >Select Activities > Clubs - Click on the club of your choice

Register your child and choose membership - Confirm membership period - Review membership dates and click Register

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Haberdashers’ School for providing this fantastic opportunity for our pupils. We are thrilled to be able to offer these clubs and hope that many of our children will benefit from taking part.
