Dear Parents / Carers,

We are delighted your child will take part as a player mascot at the Boreham Wood vs Newport County match on Sunday, 7th December 2025, represent Saffron Green Primary School.

During this special experience, the children will lead out onto the pitch with the players for the line-up and handshake, appear in the official photograph, and will then be able to watch the match free of charge. This fixture will also be televised, making the occasion even more memorable.

Your child will be supervised throughout by school staff: Mr Fasset and Mrs Bossert.

Arrival and Uniform Requirements

Children must arrive at the stadium and meet the school staff at 1:30pm on Sunday 7th December.
Please ensure that your child is dressed exactly as follows:

• White polo shirt
• School jumper with the Saffron Green logo (must have logo) speak to the school office if you do not have one.
• Black bottoms (Plain black shorts or plain black tracksuit bottoms) - no logos on it
• Black socks
• Black shoes/Astro turf

As this event is televised and your child will be representing the school, the correct uniform is essential.

Important – Commitment Required

By giving consent, it is essential that you child turns up on the day. We will not have any spare children available on the day, and failure to attend would cause disappointment for other children that had not have the opportunity and disrupt the event. It is vital that your child arrives on time and in full correct uniform mentioned above.
