Due to some technical issues setting up Google classroom, I am not able to set homework online currently. However please can all Year 6’s continue to:

• Read for 20-30minutes daily and discuss what they have read with their family
• Complete 15minutes of Times Table Rock stars 
• Practise all y3/4/5/6 statutory spelling words 
• Exciting Homework Competition
   
  Following our fabulous assembly this morning with Lee and Dan, we will be asking you all as part of your homework this week to design a picture to be part of the community mural. The design will be displayed on the boards surrounding the flats that were burnt down in the devastating fire that upset so many lives. 
  As Lee discussed in assembly, we want bright and cheery designs that the residents will enjoy looking at. These could include our school logo, happy children, symbols if happiness and togetherness or fun places to be in Borehamwood. We really want the design to showcase community spirit and support. 
  The deadline for your designs will be Thursday 22^nd September a we will be looking at entries on Friday 23^rd September and deciding which will be part of this amazing opportunity. Please complete the designs on paper and hand them in to your class teacher.
