Nature of Support given:

Our Strategy at Saffron Green is to ensure that no child is disadvantaged in relation to receiving the best education possible.  All children are focused on individually.  Those in receipt of pupil premium may receive some or any of the following support.  1:1 tuition for maths and literacy.  Small group intervention work in maths and literacy.  Provision of subsidised after school clubs.  Subsidy of curriculum enrichment opportunities.  Provision of librarian services.  Services of a  SEND leader and SEND Assistant.  Access to Play Therapy/Counselling.  Provision of a breakfast club, lunch time club and nurture room provision

 

Measuring the impact of PPG

The school evaluates the impact at the end of each term.  Evaluation focuses on a summative evaluation of academic progress in maths and literacy and a formative assessment of self confidence amongst the pupils.
